Natural Ways to Control Mud, Dust, Bugs & Weeds Reduce chemical use on your property while making it healthier for your horses, you & wildlife! Inviting wildlife to your farm & landscaping with native plants can have many wonderful benefits for horse owners including "natural” insect control, mud reduction, dust barriers, visual screens between neighbors, cooling of buildings, summer shade for horses & low-cost/low care landscaping.  We will also cover environmentally sensitive ways to manage odors, useful water conservation tips and how to manage creeks or wetlands on horse properties.  Wednesday, April 23rd, 6:30 – 9pm, Preston Community Center, Preston, WA. Flying Horseshoe Ranch – 3190 Red Bridge Road, Cle Elum.  Sunday Aug. 30th & Monday Sept 1st.  Come enjoy a relaxing ride in the Teanaway Valley among beautiful meadows and pine forest that cover the hill behind the Ranch.  We have reserved a cabin that sleeps six, and six stalls, or you can reserve one of the bunkhouses also available.  For more information on the Ranch amenities call (509) 674-2366.  This is also the weekend of the Ellensburg Rodeo so a night out in Ellensburg sounds like great fun!  the following day we plan on a ride from Roslyn to Ronald before heading home.  Please call Laurie (425) 391-1657 to reserve a spot, or if you have questions.  

Silver Ridge Ranch – (509) 656-0275.  Sat. July 26th – Sun. July 27th.  Ride to Lake kachess  or Kachess Ridge for fantastic views, also just a short distance to John Wayne Trial.  The lodge has seven guest rooms that sleep from two – five people, or you can RV or tent it.  Silver Ridge also has corrals for $5 per night.  Please call Laurie for reservations (425) 391-1657.

Christmas Caroling date for this year is set for Dec. 21st.  Always a lot of fun for the whole family!  We meet up at the Bridle Trails State Park trailer parking area @ Noon, dress up the horses and go caroling around the Bridlewood Circle neighborhood.  We are greeted with hot cocoa and plenty of cheer.

Regular Rides:  The 1st Saturday of every month from May through Sept. are two reguler rides.  The first is the ride meeting at Fall City Arena @ noon.  Meeting at the trailer parking area on Neal Rd.  From Hwy 202 just after the bridge in downtown take a (L) on Hwy 203 then left on Neal Rd.  you will see the parking area on your right.

The 3rd Sat. of every month is the ride in Soaring Eagle Park, meeting at the trailer parking area next to water towers. From 228th go east on SE 8th follow road as it winds to the left and changes to 244th, at the end of 244th take a right on E. main Dr. go to the dead-end and park.  Ride leaves at noon.
